Can I Kick It?

YES I CAN!

Watching YO! MTV hits, which is showing clips of old Yo! MTV Raps shows from 1989-1990 (my junior year in high school), which leads to videos from Biz Markie, LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. Which leads me to search old skool videos on YouTube, which leads me to this: Fraggle Rock meets DJ Kool's Let Me Clear My Throat (live).

And YES, I was doing the Ed Lover Dance. Tori, who had been watching all this silliness, just said, "Mom...you're NUTS"!

I love Google!

Now, this is what I've been waiting for: Gmail Custom Time!

Now I can send back-dated emails, and they'll show up in correct chronological order in your inbox! Everyone who knows me knows that I'm always late...now I'll have my "out". I quote Miriam S., one of Google's Beta users:

The entire concept of 'late' no longer exists for me. That's pretty cool. Thanks Gmail!

On a similar note, I logged onto Blogger a bit ago, to find even more internet goodness: Google Weblogs! If you're a Blogger, well...blogger ;-), click on the Check it out link at the bottom of this page, for more info on this cool new way to blog. This will be perfect for me! Take a look at this, from the above link:

Don’t limit yourself to “reverse chronological” publishing. Our advanced Google algorithms put your best content at the top of your blog. Even if your later work goes downhill your previous posts will still shine.

(OK...I seriously fell for this one. Yep, I got TayRolled!)

OK, enough with the gushing!

I know, I know...it's annoying. But in light of my previous post (where I mentioned how sweet Loryn told me she loved me), I'm celebrating a bit.

Yes, another Rufus video. NO, it has nothing to do with Autism, or my kids, or unschooling, or homeschooling, or what-have-you.

It just makes ME happy, and it's my blog and all that. Don't watch, I don't care. DON'T fall in love with this delicious gay man...goddess knows one 35 year old, married Mom to four, rabid fan is enough.

The poor baby.

Oh, BTW...Happy (Gay) Friday!

What can I say? I love me some chubby, bearded comedian ass.

S'okay...Dave knows all about my secret boyfriend(s).

Change

Joke of the Day

Courtesy of ReligiousTolerance.Org

Three children were talking about their religions.
"I'm a Catholic," said one, "And our symbol is the cross."
"I'm Jewish," said the second, "And our symbol is the Star of David."
The third child said, "I'm a Unitarian Universalist and our symbol is a candle in a cocktail glass!"

Feelin a little frisky...

and I'm sure as hell not going to blog about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (shit, after reading the Wiki article...do I even have to finish it)? Dave says Yes, so I'll try to.

Sweet, sweet Mr. Parr, btw, finished it in a day and a half, and cried through the last couple of chapters. As Ashlyn says, from time to time: You a baby...HA HA!

*sigh* My man...I love him so. He knows I'm only teasing because both of us are big ol' babies. Yes, indeed...I can talk the talk, but I can't walk the walk. I'm more sensitive and emotional than anyone should be, and the truth is I haven't read the book yet because I just don't have the time right now to be so wrapped up emotionally in Harry's world. Way too much stuff going on in my real life, which has more ups and downs than Hogwarts right now.

Anyway, I was blog-hopping today after lunch (and btw, Google Reader is addictive, more so than WoW, even) and found this (below), which I'm shamelessly stealing (um...borrowing) from Mamma Loves.

No comment necessary, I'm sure. But aren't you glad I'm here, working overtime (read: slacking) to fulfill my duty to you, gentle reader: to find the best (read: dirty/funny) stuff on the Internet, and pass it along to YOU!

I know I've made my Mama proud.
